What's on in Alicante in December 2026

In short: Xixona smells of turrón with its Fira de Nadal, living nativity scenes fill towns and neighbourhoods, and the seafront promenade is a midday short-sleeve stroll; the Three Kings parade closes the month.

December tastes of turrón: Xixona, cradle of soft and hard turrón, celebrates its Fira de Nadal and opens workshops and museums to visitors. Nativity scenes — living ones too — take over churches and squares across half the province, and the climate allows a seaside stroll almost every day. The year bows out with the midnight bells, and January opens with the Three Kings parades on the 5th.
