February is the interior’s most photogenic month: almond blossom covers the Vall de Xaló and the Guadalest valleys, with signed routes between white terraces. On the coast, Torrevieja lives its Carnival — one of the liveliest in the province — and between January and February Benidorm hosts the Benidorm Fest, Spain’s Eurovision preselection.
