Playa del Arenal (Xàbia)
Xàbia's main town beach: nearly two kilometres of fine sand and calm water facing the marina, with a promenade, beach bars and a gentle entry that makes it the easy choice in town for families.
El Arenal runs along the seafront closest to Xàbia's marina, and it's the town's default beach when comfort matters more than scenery: fine sand, generally gentle waves and a shallow, gradual entry that makes it a safe pick for small children. A promenade runs its full length, backed by hotels, apartment blocks and a solid run of bars and restaurants right behind the sand.
It fills up early in high season, and street parking along the roads parallel to the promenade is usually gone by mid-morning — walking or cycling in from the town centre tends to work out faster than circling for a space. Sunbed and umbrella rental, plus the occasional kayak or paddleboard outfit, round out the summer services.
