Aqua Natura Benidorm
Aqua Natura is a 40,000 square meter water park with sea lion shows included. More than a kilometer of slides and a wave pool area complete the experience. It offers education on marine conservation while you enjoy the water.
Aqua Natura opened in 2009 in the Foietes area, near Ciudad Patricia, and belongs to the same group as Aqualandia, in Benidorm. The park covers just over 40,000 square metres, with more than a kilometre of slides set within a Greek-themed design, along with wave pools, children's areas and poolside rest spots.
A park with sea lions
What sets Aqua Natura apart from the coast's other water parks is its sea lion programme: the site runs educational shows focused on the species' conservation, and a pool where, in specific sessions, visitors can swim alongside the animals under keeper supervision. The park also runs activities for children, including a mermaid and merman school that has drawn hundreds of participants from different countries over its various editions.
Aqua Natura can be combined in the same part of the city with Mundomar and Terra Mítica, Benidorm's other major theme parks. Like the city's other water parks, it opens only in high season, so it's worth checking the calendar before planning a visit outside summer. The sea lion sessions tend to have limited spaces, so arriving early makes it easier to book a spot in the day's most popular slots.
